Rock star Brian May campaigns for ‘Common Decency’ in the West

Brian May, Queen guitarist, astrophysicist, badger cull activist, has been on the campaign trail in the West. But he’s for people, not politics.

The 67-year-old rock legend has been trying to convince people to use their vote – but in a way that he says would makes democracy work for us all. His Common Decency campaign says voting should be about individual politicians, rather than party politics.

He popped into the studio yesterday to explain how it works…

Common Decency is what I expect from my MP.  This election will see a lot of complacent politicians feel the order of the boot.
